Paper formats

ICIN 2015 speakers should provide a final paper in PDF format for publication in the ICIN 2015 Conference Proceedings. Final papers must be IEEE Xplore-compatible PDFs written in English with a maximum paper length of eight (8) printed pages for full paper and three (3) printed pages for short (poster) papers (10-point font) including tables, figures and references and must use standard IEEE two-column conference templates (Word or LaTeX) that can be downloaded from http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing/templates.html. If the Word templates are used then final manuscripts should be prepared using the most current version of Microsoft Word to help reduce word-to-pdf conversion issues such as embedded fonts, bookmarks, etc. A PDF eXpress service is available to create final PDFs certified for IEEE Xplore-compatibility. Submitted PDFs must not include page numbers or headers/footers and must have non-zero top and bottom margins (typically, at least 0.5 inches).

ICIN Full papers: Final papers for ICIN 2015 technical paper sessions should be certified by IEEE PDF eXpress and the resulting PID file should be uploaded through the EDAS system http://edas.info/N17841 Final papers are subject to the approval of the session chairman who may recommend rejection of papers that do not take account of reviewers' requirements and expectations in an acceptable manner. Speakers in technical paper sessions should also provide PowerPoint slides for oral presentation in the session by 6 February 2015. Powerpoint slides must conform to the template that can be downloaded here. Speakers in demonstration sessions should also provide a poster for display during the demonstration sessions.

ICIN short (poster) papers: Final short papers for ICIN 2015 poster sessions should be certified by IEEE PDF eXpress and the resulting PID file should be uploaded through the EDAS system http://edas.info/N19329. Final papers are subject to the approval of the session chairman who may recommend rejection of papers that do not take account of reviewers' requirements and expectations in an acceptable manner.

Speaker registration

Accepted papers should be presented at the conference by one of the authors. The presenter of an accepted paper is required to complete paid registration at full (member or non-member) rate for a conference pass prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. There is no refund for cancellation but substitutions may be made at any time prior to the event. Speakers must register for a conference pass at the full (member or non-member) rate even if they are a student. Each speaker can present one paper in the programme.

Failure to complete paid speaker registration before the deadline of 13 January 2015 will result in automatic withdrawal of the paper from the conference programme and the proceedings. ICIN Events also reserves the right to exclude a paper from the programme and from the conference proceedings and from distribution after the conference if the paper is not presented at the conference.

Copyright

The IEEE Communications Society – the technical co-sponsor of ICIN 2015 – requires that IEEE be the sole copyright holder for material published in IEEE Xplore®. Authors are required to complete the relevant IEEE Copyright Form electronically through the EDAS system before the paper submission deadline of 13 January.
